Biography
Hello, my name is Amanda Price and I’ve been a part of Geneva County Schools for the past 19 years. I’ve enjoyed 18 of those years here at Slocomb Elementary School. I’ve served in the classroom in both 1st and 5th grade. While I loved every second of teaching in the classroom, I have embarked on a new journey as the Library Media Specialist this year. I’m so very excited to share my love of reading and books with the students here at SLES. I have also served as the Junior Varsity Cheer Coach for the past 4 years and have loved every minute of it!
I’ve been married to my husband Derek for 19 years and we have 2 amazing kids. Caleb will start on a new journey this year as well as a college freshman at Troy University. He’s very excited to pursue a degree in history and attend law school in the future. My daughter Ella Grace is a Sophomore at Slocomb High School and loves cheering on the Redtops as a Varsity Cheerleader.
I look forward to an awesome year!
Go Redtops!!!
